Angela Kaida is a public health researcher trained in Epidemiology and Population Health. She has experience working locally and internationally, primarily in eastern and southern Africa. Ms. Kaida operates a consulting company, AFYA Research and Consulting, which provides research and writing expertise to international and local public health initiatives. Currently, she also works as a Population Health Researcher with the Public Health Division of Capital Health in Edmonton, Alberta. In 2001, Ms. Kaida was a research intern shared jointly between the Ecosystem Approaches to Human Health (Ecohealth) Program Initiative and the Senior Scientific Advisor for Health at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
