Ivana Pesic is a qualified medical doctor. She is studying for a PhD in Molecular Medicine at the University of Niš in Serbia. Her PhD research focuses on the molecular analysis of urine for the early diagnosis of kidney disease.
During her fellowship, Ivana Pešić will learn state of the art molecular methods to detect and identify different proteins and polypeptides found in the urine of healthy and diseased patients.
Her fellowship is hosted by the Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology, Georg-August University, Göttingen, Germany.
